"Smooth coffee" is defined differently by everyone. For me, it means it is not bitter and has a kick of caffeine that can rival even the best nights sleep.

This French Press Coffee is both of those things, plus It makes me feel extra fancy.

Dig in!

One French Press (I purchased mine here)

Your favorite coffee

One tablespoon to measure

One kettle or sauce pan

Your favorite creamer and / or sugar *optional, of course

- Bring water to a boil in a kettle or a pot and then take off the heat for 45 seconds

- Measure out 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 1 cup of water (my French Press holds roughly 3 cups of water)

- Pour the water over the coffee grounds and give it a gentle stir

- Put the lid on top of the beaker

- Wait 4 minutes for the coffee to brew

- Gently push the piston down until it reaches the bottom

- Pour and then ooo-ahhh over the smoothness of your coffee

Totally feel you on that! There’s something about French press that just hits different especially when you use organic coffee. It’s smooth, bold, and makes the whole ritual feel like a mini luxury moment every morning
